Dragon Bonsai Autumn Show Report October 2025
After a seemingly very quick 6 months since the last show, the Dragon Bonsai Club held their Autumn show at the Mansion House in Aberglasney over the weekend of 11th and 12th October.
We were lucky with the weather for the weekend – as due to high winds & very heavy rain just a week before, the gardens were closed for safety on the Saturday and we would have had to cancel the Show.
We had a group of club members on hand from around mid-day on the Friday to set up and get almost all of the trees and other exhibits on the tables. We had more or less got everything done by 4pm. On the Saturday we were back again early to make a few last-minute changes and additions – and to get the sales & demo tables set up.
The show opened at 10:00am, and after a slow start we had a good number of people coming in to see us. The demo table was busy on both days – with Sunday being the most well attended by the public.
Our guest Judge for the show was Simon from the Bristol Bonsai club.

We started to take the show down at 3.30pm on the Sunday – and again we had very good support from Club Members who were able to be there for the day. By 5pm everything was put away, and all the trees were packed up in our cars & vans to take home.
We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to Simon for the Judging, and to the Aberglasney team. Our next show is planned for March 2026.
