Weekend With Morten Albek
Club Weekend with Morten Albek . 29th and 30th April 2023
Over the weekend of April 29th and 30th the club welcomed Morten Albek to a 2 day residential event at the resource centre in Glanamman. Members from other clubs supported this event, and we had a fully booked weekend.
We were also very happy to welcome Mark & MingChen Moreland ( Who run the UK Bonsai Association ) to the event – where Mark gave a very interesting presentation and demonstration of a new propagation technique that has yielded incredible results over a relatively short period of time.
We were lucky to have a beautiful day on the Saturday – where many of us were able to work on our tress outside in some very welcome spring sunshine. Morten was able to provide 1:1 styling advice and help – and also gave two presentations to the club with a Q & A session.
Due to the success of the event, both Morten and Mark have kindly agreed to come back next year, and at the moment this is already fully booked. There may be some spaces for viewing only, but we are 100% for the 1:1 with Morten.
